1.) How long will my lash extensions last?
With proper aftercare, your extensions will shed naturally with your lash cycle (around 4 weeks). To maintain fullness and balance, we recommend booking a refill every 2–3 weeks based on your natural growth cycle. Many clients find their sets last longer thanks to our premium selection of adhesives, which allows you to get your lashes wet immediately after your appointment and has proven to be safer for sensitive eyes- less fumes, no irritation.
2.) Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Not at all when applied correctly. You may see more growth over time. At Flaunt & Flutter, each extension is applied to a single natural lash with precision mapping to protect your lash health. We also use nourishing lash serum at every appointment to support strength and retention.
3.) What’s the difference between a full set and a refill?
A full set is a fresh application of extensions on every natural lash, ideal for first-time clients or if more than 30% of your extensions have shed. A refill is a maintenance service, where we clean and replace grown-out or missing lashes to restore your set’s fullness.
4.) What should I do before my lash appointment?
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes—no mascara, eyeliner, or oil-based products. Avoid caffeine right before your appointment so you can relax comfortably without twitching eye movement. We’ll take care of everything else from there.

Your first lash appointment at Flaunt & Flutter Lashery is designed to be both relaxing and personalized. We’ll begin with a consultation where we’ll discuss your lifestyle, eye shape, natural lashes, and the look you’d like to achieve so your set is completely customized to you. Once you’re settled into our luxurious lay-flat chocolate leather recliner, many clients find themselves so comfortable they drift off to sleep while I carefully isolate and apply each extension one lash at a time. By the end of your appointment, you’ll leave with beautifully customized lashes, aftercare guidance, and the confidence that comes from waking up looking effortlessly put together.
6.) Do you offer a home care kit?
Yes. Every first-time client receives home care with their full priced lash set. It will be gifted at your first refill appointment.
7.) Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?
You won’t need mascara (and we don’t recommend it), but you can still wear makeup. Just avoid oil-based products around the eye area, as they can break down the adhesive. If you’d like eyeliner, opt for water-based or lash-safe formulas for best retention.
8.) What if I have sensitive eyes or allergies?
We customize for comfort. If you have sensitivities, let us know before your service. We can adjust tapes, pads, and products, and use advanced adhesives designed to reduce irritation.
9.) How do I know which lash style is right for me?
At your appointment, we’ll discuss your natural lashes, eye shape, and personal style. From soft classic natural to dramatic volume, each set is tailored to enhance your unique features.
10.) Can I still swim, exercise, or shower with lash extensions?
Yes. Thanks to our LED-cured system, your lashes are instantly water-resistant. You can swim, sweat, and shower right away — just remember to cleanse and brush your lashes daily to maintain retention.
11.) What happens if I need to remove my lash extensions?
Never pull or pick at your lashes. This can result in unwanted damage to your natural eyelashes. If you’d like them removed, we offer safe professional removal to protect your natural lash health.
12.) What happens to my reservation deposit if I can’t make my appointment?
Your reservation deposit secures your appointment time and is applied toward the cost of your service. If you need to reschedule, your deposit may be transferred one time to a new appointment when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. Any additional reschedules, cancellations, reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-show appointments will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to reserve a future appointment.
